    • location-uses a map/globe to locate Mexico.
    • topography-knows the regions of Mexico: deserts, rain forest/jungles, moutains, vocanoes, peninsulas and coastline beaches/seashore.
    • language-becomes aware of the various languages spoken in Mexico.
    • celebrations-develops an awareness of the celebration of special occasions: Las Posadas, Dia de los Muertos, The Day of San Antonio Abad.
    • arts-understands the importance of the arts in their daily life, such as: weaving, pottery, music and traditional culture: bark painting, folk dance and folktales.
